Contact the P500BrokerUG Editorial Desk
The editorial desk answers readers on factual accuracy, corrections and complaints about this site itself, within the limits set out below.
Official site of the sponsorScope of This Desk
This site carries an obligation that shapes every message we answer. We review the broker Plus500 for readers in Uganda, and we do so independently. We are not the broker. We hold no account for any reader, process no deposits or withdrawals, and offer no financial services or advice. Anyone who writes to us about money sent, an account blocked or a trading decision will be pointed back to the broker, because those matters are outside our hands and outside our remit.
What remains within our remit is the text we publish. We are answerable for the accuracy of what appears on these pages, for the fairness of how we describe what we have checked, and for correcting our own errors when a reader shows us one. That is the whole of the obligation we accept, and we take it seriously enough to keep a route open for it.
Languages We Read
The desk reads and replies in English. Correspondence written in English reaches the right person directly and is handled fastest.
We can also work through material submitted in Luganda and Swahili, though replies in those languages may take longer to prepare, and where a point is finely drawn we may answer in English to avoid any loss of precision. If you write in another language, we will do what we can, but we cannot promise a substantive reply.
Corrections and Response Times
If you believe a factual statement on this site is wrong, write to us through the contact form on this site. Set out the page concerned, quote the sentence you dispute, and say what you believe the correct position to be. Where you can, attach or point to the source that supports your account, such as a published fee schedule or a term from the broker's own documentation. Corrections without a source are still read, but they take longer to verify.
We aim to acknowledge a correction request within five working days. Where the point is straightforward and the source is clear, we aim to publish a correction or an update within ten working days of acknowledgment. Where verification takes longer, we will tell you so rather than leave the matter silent. Accepted corrections are made in the text itself, and where the change is material we note that the page has been amended.
We do not remove accurate material because a reader disagrees with it, and we do not alter a review to suit a commercial interest.
Complaints and What We Answer
Complaints about this site itself, meaning its conduct, its editorial standards or the way a message has been handled, go through the same contact form and are marked for the editor. We aim to acknowledge such a complaint within five working days and to give a substantive answer within fifteen working days. If we got something wrong in how we dealt with you, we will say so.
We answer questions about our published reviews, about the sources behind a statement, and about how a conclusion was reached. We do not answer questions about opening an account, funding it, withdrawing from it, or what to trade. We cannot intervene in a dispute between a reader and the broker, and we cannot confirm anything about an individual account. Messages asking us to do those things will receive a short reply explaining why we cannot help.
