Cookie Policy

How p500brokerug.com uses cookies, what each type does, and the choices you have.

Our partner's website

Understand what a cookie is

When you open a page on this site, a small text file may be saved to your browser. That file is a cookie. It holds a short label and some values, and your browser sends it back to the site, or to the party that set it, on later requests. It is not a program, it cannot run on your device, and it cannot read other files on your computer.

Cookies are one of several ways a website can remember something between visits or between pages. Similar technologies exist, such as local storage or pixels, and where we use them we treat them under the same rules described here. For simplicity, this policy refers to all of them as cookies.

You do not need an account to read our reviews. Most of what you see here is plain content, and most of it works without any cookie being stored at all.

See which cookies are strictly necessary

Some cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off through our interface. They keep a session stable while you move between pages, remember your cookie choice so that you are not asked again on every visit, and help protect forms on the site against misuse. These cookies do not build a profile of your interests and are not used to target advertising.

Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a working, secure website. Because they are essential, refusing them is not a setting we can offer; the practical way to block them is through your browser, as described below.

If you delete them, the site will treat you as a new visitor, your saved choice will be lost, and you may see the cookie notice again.

Know how long each kind lives

Cookies fall into two broad lifetimes. Session cookies last only while your browser is open and are removed when you close it. Persistent cookies stay for a fixed period set when they are created, and that period can range from a few minutes to several months.

Our strictly necessary cookies are mostly session-based, with the exception of the one that stores your consent choice, which persists for a limited period so that the site can honour it. Third-party cookies, described in the next section, follow the lifetimes set by whoever places them, and those periods are outside our direct control.

We do not keep cookies longer than needed for the purpose they serve. When a cookie expires, it is deleted by your browser and the site no longer receives it.

Recognise cookies set by third parties

This site is an independent editorial resource. We review a broker for readers in Uganda, but we are not that broker, we are not affiliated with it, and we do not offer financial services, accounts, deposits or advice. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to open an account or to trade.

Some pages embed material that is served from other domains, for example a video player or a font. Those providers may set their own cookies when the content loads, and they act as independent controllers of what they collect. We do not sell cookie data, and we do not run advertising profiles on this site.

Where such embedded content is optional, it is only loaded after you agree through the cookie notice. If you refuse, the content may not appear, but the rest of the page will still read normally. You can find out more about third-party cookies from the privacy notices of the providers concerned.

Learn what breaks when you refuse them

Refusing optional cookies does not lock you out of the reviews. The articles, tables and comparisons remain readable, and no payment or sign-up is required. What changes is that embedded media may not load, and some interactive elements may fall back to a simpler form.

Refusing or blocking strictly necessary cookies affects functionality more directly. Your choice may not be remembered, forms on the site may fail to submit, and a page may behave inconsistently between visits. These outcomes are the reason those cookies are classed as necessary rather than optional.

Your decision applies to this site only. It does not change how other websites you visit handle cookies, and it does not affect any relationship you may separately have with the broker we write about.

Control cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies. The settings are usually found under a privacy or security menu, where you can also clear stored data and set rules for individual sites. Browser help pages explain the exact steps for the version you are using.

You can also use a private or incognito window, which discards cookies when you close it. Blocking all cookies may make parts of this site, and many others, work less well. If you want to keep the site functional while limiting tracking, allow necessary cookies and block the rest.

We may update this policy as the site changes. When we do, we publish the revised text on this page with a new effective date, and the version shown here is the one that applies. If you have a question about cookies, use the contact form on this site.
